A simple recipe, one with few variables. Yet this very simple beverage is often destroyed by crazy, non-margarita additions such as mint, mango, or >shudder< sweet and sour mix.

But don't let them get to you. Fight back against those who would blend or otherwise destroy your intended bliss!

Announcing the Margarita Purity League, a group of 'rita lovers dedicated to the lovely, siren song of the perfect beverage. Join us as we wend our merry way through the bars of our fine nation (and abroad), searching for the perfect beverage. As we sample our way across the bars, bistos, and cantinas we encounter, we will catalog our finds, and share them with our brothers (and sisters) in spirit.

Of course, opinions on the history of the beverage differ. But what matters, in the end, is what ends up in your glass. And finding the bottom is what we are all about.

The League will make sporadic appearances over the summer. For information about joining the League, or if you wish to submit a purity report, e-mail Mixmaster Bhagwan
